鷲見 加寿子
東京に生まれる。井口愛子、安川加寿子、田村宏、高良芳枝、ヘルムート・ロロフに師事。第10回学生音楽コンクール中学校の部全国第1位。
桐朋学園大学音楽部ピアノ科を卒業後、ヘルムート・ロロフ教授の招きによりベルリン市奨学金を受ける、国立ベルリン音楽大学に留学。全ドイツ・ホッホシューレ・ミュンヘン・コンクール第3位。最優秀の成績で卒業後、西ドイツのデュイスブルク市に居を移し、ラインドイツオペラのドゥイスブルグ市メ交響楽団メンバーと室内楽グループ「コンソルティウム・ムジカ・ララ」を結成し、西ドイツ各地でオーケストラとの協演を行う。一方、ドイツ放送、ケルン西ドイツ放送、ベルリン自由放送での録音、放送出演等幅広く活躍。
1978年に帰国、国内でも精力的な演奏活動を開始。定期的にリサイタルを開催すると同時に、NHK・FMコンサート出演、新日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団、東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団と協奏曲を協演。フランク・ペーター・ツィンマーマン、ゲオルク・ファウスト等有名な演奏家とも共演。ベリンフィルハーモニーホールにおけるベルリン交響楽団との3回にわたる協演は、ベルリンの新聞紙上で好評を博す。
1996年より8枚のＣＤをライブ・ノーツよりリリース。新聞、音楽雑誌等で高い評価を得ている。
活発な演奏活動を行いながら、東京音楽大学で後進の指導にも力を注ぎ、小菅優、佐藤彦大、藤田真央をはじめ多くの優秀な若いピアニスト、指導者の育成に努めている。東京音楽大学名誉教授。
Kazuko Sumi
Widely acclaimed pianist, Kazuko Sumi, started her career as a pianist while studying at the Toho Gakuen School of Music. She won the first prize in the All Japan Student Music Competition at the age of thirteen, and subsequently won more awards.
She continued her studies under Helmut Roloff at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Berlin. Following the studies, she embraced various performing opportunities including solo recitals, chamber music performances, concertos, and many recordings.
In 1978 Kazuko Sumi returned her career to Japan. Since then, she has regularly performed as a recitalist and a soloist for the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, and SOB (Symphonisches Orchester Berlin). Her chamber music engagements have partnered her with Frank Peter Zimmermann, Gerog Faust, and many other players. She has recorded 8 CDs, performings works of J.Brahms, R.Schumann, F.Schubert, H.Pfitzner, H.Wolf, and C.Franck. Those recordings have received critical acclaim.
She serves on the juries of major piano competitions in Japan and other countries, and currently teaches talented young pianists as a professor at the Tokyo College of Music.
